Barcelona has too many events. We fixed that.
It started with a simple complaint in a WhatsApp group: "where do I find out what's actually happening this weekend?" Turns out, nobody knew. Not because nothing was happening — Barcelona never stops — but because the events were scattered across a dozen different websites, half of them in Catalan, none of them talking to each other.
So we built BarnaPulse.
It scrapes, translates, deduplicates, and organises events from over ten sources into a single English-language feed. Live music, club nights, free festivals, kids' workshops, tech meetups, food markets — if it's happening in Barcelona, it should be here. We currently track 4,000+ events at any given time, which tells you two things: Barcelona is genuinely one of the most eventful cities on the planet, and someone really needed to do this.
Who made this?
BarnaPulse is a project by Circle Barcelona — an invite-only network of builders, designers, and people who think too much. We get together to solve interesting problems, build useful things.
Don't let "invite-only" intimidate you. It's not a cult. There's no secret handshake. It's just a small group of people who'd rather build something than talk about building something.
