Guided visit to the episcopal complex in Plaça del Rei. Late antiquity marks a period of profound political, religious and social changes that can be traced through the preserved remains. The episcopal complex – with elements such as the old palace, the baptistery and the episcopal classroom – allows us to understand the role of Christianity in the reorganization of power after the fall of the Roman Empire and in the configuration of early medieval Barcelona.
