Exhibition "Clonc Plac Blampf!" by Mark Malarko

While working in Barcelona, Malarko came across a pile of discarded comics, near what turned out to be the former Bruguera publishing house. Attracted by their color, rhythm, and graphic intensity, he began to translate fragments of these images into painting. The works are not direct reproductions, but abstractions, echoes of shapes, palettes, and gestures carried over from the original material.
