Musical Conference "The Capulets and the Montagues, by Vincenzo Bellini"

Lyrical tragedy in two acts with music by Vincenzo Bellini and libretto by Felice Romani. I Capuleti e i Montecchi recreates the story of Romeo and Giulietta based on Italian sources predating Shakespeare. Premiered in Venice in 1830, it was first performed in Barcelona on 14 July 1832 at the Teatre de la Santa Creu, and arrived at the Gran Teatre del Liceu on 8 June 1854. Conducted by María José Anglés
