Musical conference "Aida de Giuseppe Verdi"

An opera in four acts with music by Giuseppe Verdi and libretto by Antonio Ghislanzoni, Aida is one of the great titles of the Italian operatic repertoire. Premiered in Cairo in 1871, it arrived in Barcelona on April 16, 1876 at the Teatre Principal and at the Gran Teatre del Liceu the following year. Set in ancient Egypt, it tells the story of an impossible love between Aida, a captive Ethiopian princess, and Radames, a captain in the Egyptian army. Conducted by María José Anglés
