By Núria Castellano i Solé, PhD in History, specialist in Egyptology and member of the Archaeological Mission to Oxyrhynchus (Egypt) The Metropolitan Museum of New York (MET) is one of the most important museums in the world. Its collection is very varied and the collection dedicated to ancient Egypt dates back to the early 20th century. Thanks to donations from private collections and excavations carried out, the MET has an interesting selection of Egyptian works of art.
