Once again an exclusive commission from the festival. In December 1955, a jazz legend landed in Barcelona: Louis Armstrong, Satchmo. To celebrate 70 years + 1 of that historic milestone in jazz in Barcelona pre-festival, the Barcelona Jazz Orchestra, conducted by Dani Alonso, pays tribute to the New Orleans trumpeter with a very special guest, also a son of the birthplace of jazz: Leroy Jones.
